Later / side project.

An interactive tool that lets users select from a small number of key chronological decisions (with optional notes on the arguments used by different schools of thought) and then see a framework chronology that matches those choices. Further layers will suggest orders or dates inside each period. The site will also offer one preferred integrated example.

Substantial work remains before this is ready.

At the moment, I am developing and verifying several different Excel spreadsheets, many with separate sheets, that contain various parts of what will become the background dataset for an integrated Bible chronology tool that can be used independently and/or with other tools on the website. Because this dataset is under active development, I’m not prepared to share it publicly yet, but below are some screenshots of the multiple spreadsheets I am currently working on.

Spreadsheet displaying a timeline of biblical events categorized by era and phase, including columns for dates, notes, and historical context.
Spreadsheet displaying a kings register with columns for ruler names, their respective kingdoms, reign start and end dates, signed documents, and references to scripture.
Spreadsheet detailing chapters from the books of Jeremiah, Daniel, and Ezekiel, organized by timeline with annotations and scripture references.
Spreadsheet titled 'Babylon โ€” year-by-year draft: 750โ€“530 BC' detailing historical events and rulers from the Neo-Babylonian Empire with columns for notable events, biblical references, and notes.
Spreadsheet titled 'Temp list โ€” Biblically relevant rulers and people from other nations' displaying a table with columns for Nation, Biblical reference, Secular/biblical names, Working dates, Notes, and more, detailing historical figures and their relevance.
A spreadsheet titled 'Temp Bible People - life spans' listing various historical figures from the Bible, including columns for their names, groups, birth and death years, and certainty of data. It includes color-coded cells indicating the status of the data.

A spreadsheet detailing events with events, places, dates, and corresponding scriptures. The table includes columns for ID, Place, Kind, Event, Scripture, Signed year, Year listed, Certainty, Status, and Notes, with various historical references related to biblical events.
