About this game
Place Bible events one card at a time on a growing timeline, in the order they happened, or study the whole timeline at your own pace.
Bible text
The games are meant to help you whichever translation you read. For copyright reasons, the Bible quotations in them are from the King James Version (KJV), and each has been checked word for word against the KJV text. Clues, summaries and explanations are written in plain words and are not quotations. Words in double quotation marks are always the KJV, with the reference.
Notes for this game
Dates follow a traditional Bible chronology, for example the Exodus about 1446 BC and Jesus' birth about 5 BC. Many are approximate, and other chronologies differ by some years. The events of Genesis 1 to 11 have no dates in Scripture, so they are placed by order only. The vast majority of scholars date Jesus' ministry as either AD 26โ30 or AD 29โ33; the cards show both schools of thought. Where cards share a date, they still follow the order of the Bible's account; where the Bible gives no order, either order is accepted.
